About Me
Co-Founder of Reunion Sportive d’Haiti
& Technology and Fundraising Officer
At an early age, Luther Tyler Voltaire partnered with his father to create Reunion Sportive d’Haiti to respond to the needs of children affected by the 2010 Haiti Earthquake. In the last six years, Luther has led the efforts to raise funds and to collect sports equipment and educational materials for thousands of children who have participated in RSHaiti Summer Sports, Reading, and Feeding Camps. Because of his love of reading, Luther has created the Solar Lamp Project to benefit children living in rural communities without electricity and has since distributed thousands of solar lamps to enable children to read at night. Luther is currently a senior at Montgomery Blair High School in Silver Spring, Maryland, serves as a journalist for his school’s newspaper, and is an aspiring attorney.
